Partnerships

Support for the local community

We work with business, community groups and charitable organisations that help us to place the people of Cambridge front and centre of our developments. These include:

Abbey People Square

Abbey People – a vibrant community charity in the Abbey Ward area of Cambridge, improving the lives and wellbeing of Abbey residents.

Railpen has established a long-term partnership with Abbey People to support some of the most vulnerable and excluded groups in Cambridge, with a particular focus on the Abbey and East Barnwell area of Cambridge. We're helping by:

  • Providing core funding for the Abbey Food Hub at East Barnwell Community Centre
  • Supporting mentoring programmes, careers sessions, work experience and training for local people.
  • Community initiatives, such as the Big Lunch and Christmas events.
